Andrea was born on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine, and grew up in Holden, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Colby College with majors in English and Classics. She worked as a paralegal at a Portland trusts and estates law firm for three years before she attended law school. Andrea graduated from Harvard Law School cum laude in 1999. While at Harvard, Andrea was a legal writing instructor for first year law students. Andrea is concentrating her practice in the areas of business and corporate law, health care law and estate planning.
